We would recommend putting the Bike Nook in a low-traffic area where you are not prone to bumping into it. Check out the following ceiling-mounted bike hooks and see if any work with your garage. While the Bike Nook saves space compared to other floor stands we tested, it still takes up a bit of room wherever you use it.
