Studies have found that if you don’t drink enough water, you will accumulate more body fat but if you drink lots of water, it will reduce the fat in your body. This is good news, isn’t it? Just drink more water to get rid of your fat!
What else happens if you don’t drink enough water? Well, your kidneys cannot function properly if your water intake is insufficient. Your liver then takes over some of the kidneys’ work. So if your liver is not working at 100% capacity ( how can it since it has to help the kidneys ) to metabolise stored fat into usable energy, your fat
remains as stored fat!
Drinking water also reduces fluid retention in your body. When your body doesn’t get enough water, it sees this as
a threat to survival and begins to hold on to every drop of water and every drop of fat. This fat is stored in the body cells especially in the belly, legs, thighs and arms. So to shed stored fat, you should drink more water.<

How much water do you need to drink?
An average person needs at least 8 glasses ( 250cc size ) of water everyday. The hotter the weather, the more water is required.
The WHO recommends that you drink the equivalent of half your bodyweight x 100cc.
So if you weigh 60 kg, you should drink 30 x 100 = 3000 cc or 3 litres of water.
