Now that the Chinese New Year festivities are almost done, it’s time to lose some of the weight which many of us would have put on. I know the festivities go on for 15 days, culminating in another big feast on the last day or Chap Goh Mei but don’t you think we should lose some weight first before Chap Goh Mei rolls around?
Then at least you can eat more of your favorite food that night.
Here’s what I plan to do. Resume my morning golf of 9 holes ( it gets too hot to continue the next 9 )which is a good walk on undulating grounds. Some of the fairways are steep slopes so pulling a trolley with a golf bag of 11 clubs plus balls will expend lots of energy ( read burning calories!).
Next will be to drink plenty of water. Remember? Water helps one to lose weight. Then of course I will cut back on my intake of food. Out go the festival cookies and delicacies which have given me an extra couple of kgs.
More fruit and vegetables and this will do the trick. I will lose weight.
This will allow me to eat some of my favorite food on the last day of the Chinese New Year. Yay!!
