Overweight & Obesity linked to Type II Diabetes

Peggy Hi,

Are you aware that if you are overweight and obese, you will develop Type II Diabetes ?

It is a disease that is irreversible and leads ( OMG ! ) to complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, amputation and blindness. What a future to look forward to….. ( shudder….)!

Overweight and obese people, especially those who carry their fat around the midriff will develop diabetes as they grow older. Are you in this group?      overweight & obese

Then you had better lose weight now or… oh dear.!!.. diabetes will be your future.

If you lose weight and exercise regularly, you will gain health benefits such as improved blood circulation and better blood sugar control.

However, if you are among those who find that your blood sugar levels are out of control due to overweight and obesity, you now have the option of going for weight-loss surgery. This is the fastest way to lose weight but it has its risks.

Changing your life-style is the other option where you have to maintain a healthy weight by eating sensibly and exercising everyday.

If you find it hard to lose weight, you can get help here.

Stay tuned for more on weight loss surgery.
