Myth because your body cannot reduce your fat at just a particular spot, no matter what you do.

Cut down calories drastically to reduce fat: another myth! If you crash diet you actually hurt your body because it goes into starvation mode. Your body reacts by slowing down your metabolic rate and burns your muscles instead, to get the energy you need. Because you feel very hungry, you will revert to your old eating style, thus gaining more weight.

What should you do then?

Eat more meals but small ones and exercise to speed up your metabolic rate. That will help you to burn fat fast!
