When you eat, don’t stuff yourself. Just eat until you are 70% full or if you feel that you are quite full.
When eating out, avoid ordering too much food as it will tempt you to eat more. Ever get the feeling that you shouldn’t waste any food? This feeling leads you to eat up whatever is on the plate. Remember mothers and even fathers who finish eating whatever their kid left behind on his plate? They certainly wont lose weight!
If you find yourself in such a situation, wanting to eat up whatever is still on the plate so that nothing will be wasted, just remember that you are not a dustbin, taking in the leftovers. This way, you will not be overeating and you won’t put on weight easily.
The less you eat, the more healthy you will be. If you eat a lot, your body will have a hard time metabolizing the food and more free radicals will be produced, thus putting you at risk of developing heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Since these free radicals are toxins, they have to be expelled from your body. Thus you need to detox regularly.
So eat less and your digestive system won’t have to work so hard. You won’t put on weight and you will be healthy and live longer.
