Dieting can be stressful especially for those who love their food. This can lead to two eating disorders, bulima and anorexia.
Bulima is whereby a person eats and eats the food she loves and then induces vomiting to get rid of the food to avoid putting on weight. This is bad for the body is deprived of nutrients.
Anorexia is the other extreme where a person refuses to eat because she perceives herself to be fat even when she is not. This person is so afraid of putting on weight that she keeps on exercising to get thin. In the long run, her body is starved and she becomes emaciated because of the illusion that she is fat and avoids eating.
Both these disorders are life threatening and you should avoid falling into this situation in your efforts to lose weight. There are weight loss supplements that will help you to lose weight and there are also exercise programs which you can follow to reduce fat and build muscle.
Just remember not to reduce your calories suddenly or your body will go into starvation mode and store food as fat. This is a natural response and your metabolic rate will also slow down, thus resulting in the failure to lose weight.
