Easy way to Reduce Fat intake

crop4JPGWhen we are rushed for time it is common to opt for fast food. It is convenient and fast,fast food so we order a burger which usually comes with French fries and a carbonated drink.

Unfortunately the burger patty is processed meat with a lot of fat ground into it and French fries are calorie laden. Anything that is fried will have fat added. The carbonated drink is sweet, tastes good but is nutrient-empty. As a result, we put on weight.

It would be a good idea to pack a sandwich lunch from home. Use wholemeal bread as they contain fibre which is good for our system. Whole wheat products can stabilize blood sugar levels and we won’t get hungry so fast. Put slices of tomato and lettuce on your sandwich minus the mayonnaise.

Bring a bottle of water and a fruitapple to complete your healthy, almost fat-free meal.

If you must have meat in your sandwich, then make your own patties. During the weekend you can buy lean cuts of meat or chicken and mince them. Make them into patties and freeze them for your consumption. Grill them instead of frying.

Another suggestion is to use canned tuna ( soaked in water ) flakes or chunks, or low-fat cheese.

Bringing your own packed lunch will not only help you to watch your weight but also saves you money and time. You won’t need to go out and wait in queues.
