For people who love their food but need to lose weight, dieting can be a nightmare. Well, it doesn’t have to be.
Just ask yourself WHY you need to lose weight. Your WHYs may not be very different from the next person’s. You’d be surprised!
Write down WHY you need to lose weight and put that list where you can see it first thing in the morning and throughout the day.
Then the HOW will come to you naturally. Human minds are very creative but it’s a no brainer that you should expend more energy than
you consume, right?
HOW number 1 is to set a goal. What is your diet goal? How much weight do you need to lose? Remember to set a realistic goal that
is achievable. It’s unrealistic to set a goal of losing ten lbs in one week. You will be setting up yourself to fail. Losing 3 – 4 lbs a week
is achievable.
HOW number 2 is to list down what you usually eat and how much and how many times a day.
How number 3 is to see which food is calorie-laden. Strike out those first. Think “balance” and “less”. Reduce the carbos and cross
out the sweet carbonated drinks which are calorie-laden but nutrient-empty. Substitute with water. Keep your protein but scale
down the portion. Include fruits and more vegetables.
Before you begin, weigh yourself and at the end of the week, weigh again. You will see results. SUCCESS!
Repeat what you did but you can vary your meals. Try out different vegetables and fruit. Alternate with fish and chicken. It’s that
easy to lose weight. More in the next post! Meanwhile, stay healthy!
