Do not crash diet

Your body will think that you do not have enough to eat so it will go into starvation mode. It will retain all the calories to conserve energy, your metabolism will slow down and instead of losing weight you will gain.

Drink lots of water as water has no calories and can make you feel full. Eating more fiber will also make you feel full. Once you feel full you will not over eat.

Another tip is to eat slowly, chewing every mouthful. It takes your body 20 minutes to realize that it is full. If you eat quickly you will be likely to overeat as you do not feel as though you are full and you keep on eating.
