How to Lose Weight

So if you always overeat, you have to cut back! Eat enough to make you feel comfortable and no second or third helpings, no matter how good the food is!

Use a smaller plate so that you won’t put lots of food on it. Take smaller portions too.

Then eat slowly. Chew and savor each bite. You will then get to taste the food. If you eat quickly or just swallow your food, you don’t give yourself the chance to really taste it.

Avoid eating on impulse. Think carefully what you are going to eat and always choose the lighter low calorie food. Eat lots of vegetables.imagesCADTX1FA

Cut back on carbohydrates and food with high-glycemic index which include white flour products such as breads, pastas, noodles, sweet desserts and table sugar.

Go for lean meat, salads and fruit. Remember, the more colorful your salad, the better and cut out the mayo. Balsamic vinegar dressing is fine or simply squeeze some lemon on your salad. I prefer my salads plain without any dressing.

So to help you burn whatever calories you’ve consumed, you have to include regular exercise. This boosts your metabolism which will burn off the calories.
